Le Clos red

“If there are such things as wines of pleasure, then Red Clos des Saumanes is the perfect example. This wine was made to be share, let it carry you away and drink it with friends.”  M&R Janer

Wine Making : pre-fermentation cold maceration. Maceration-fermentation: 2 weeks, during which temperatures do not exceed 25-26°C (77-79°F)

Technique : during the early stages of the fermentation process, all of the must is poured over the floating grape skins everyday. The length of maceration is determined by regular tastings. The wine is then transferred to steel tanks for its elevage.
